LivingCon can look back on a successful PADERBAU 2018. The interest in the LivingCon concept was overwhelming. At times, the visitors crowded in the module, so that the space was barely sufficient. Many interesting conversations with visitors, customers as well as experts have shown that LivingCon is right with its concept and serves current trends.
Not only the aspect of Tiny Houses aroused great interest among many visitors, but also sustainability, health and energy consumption are among the much inquired terms during customer discussions. In the future, LivingCon will continue to improve in these areas and develop solutions.
Together with the „housing doctor“, the aspects of healthy living should be emphasized more intensively and, for example, special modules for allergy sufferers will be developed. In his keynote address, building biologist Armin Brüggemann was able to convey important basics of living health.
Another highlight at PADERBAU 2018 was the live performance of a blower door test on the exhibited residential module. Our partnering engineering office „on“ explained the basics and characteristics of a blower-door test in a lecture before it went to the live test. Inside as well as outside, visitors were able to get an idea of how the test is working, where weak spots might lie and how to sort the results. The LivingCon module has earned the grade „very good“ and fulfills the requirements for a passive house in the field of airtightness.
